Fujairah Chamber Of Commerce Discusses Economic And Trade Relations With An Iraqi Delegation

Dubai Sheikh Saeed bin Suroor Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, met with the delegation of the Union of Importers and Exporters in the Kurdistan Region headed by Kaylan Saeed Aziz, head of the Erbil branch of the Union of Iraqi Importers and Exporters, in the presence of Hamid bin Salem, Secretary-General of the Federation of Emirates Chambers, and Ahmed Sultan, Second Deputy For the Chairman and members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Sultan Al-Handasi, the General Manager of the Chamber, and the directors of local departments in the Emirate.

Sheikh Saeed bin Suroor stressed the depth of relations between the UAE and Iraq in various fields and the importance of pushing them towards broader horizons, pointing to the Chamber’s keenness to strengthen relations between business owners in the Emirate of Fujairah and their counterparts in Iraq through the exchange of information and ideas to open new horizons for cooperation in the economic and commercial fields.

For his part, Sultan Al-Handasi, Director General of the Chamber, expressed readiness to provide all facilities for businessmen from Iraq to enter the labor market in the emirate in coordination with the competent local departments, which contributes to developing and strengthening cooperation in the economic fields, increasing trade exchange, and encouraging investment movement in the interest of both countries.
