Fujairah to Host Aid Collection Drive for ‘UAE Stands with Lebanon’ Campaign

Fujairah: Al Bustan Hall in Fujairah is set to host an aid collection event as part of the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' campaign this Sunday, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The initiative is a response to the overwhelming support received by the campaign and aims to provide assistance to the people of Lebanon affected by ongoing conflict. According to Emirates News Agency, the event will be managed and organized by the Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs and the Fujairah Charity Association. The drive will focus on gathering food parcels and shelter equipment. Saeed bin Mohammed Al Raqbani, Special Adviser to the Ruler of Fujairah and Chairman of the Fujairah Charity Association, highlighted the commitment of the leadership in extending aid to Lebanon. He emphasized the involvement of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, in the campaign. Suhail Rashid Al Qa di, Director of the Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs, noted that humanitarian work is a fundamental aspect of the UAE's identity. This is reflected in the large public turnout for previous collection events under the campaign. Volunteers from various backgrounds will contribute to the event, coordinated through the Volunteers.ae platform and other entities. The community is encouraged to make donations to the Emirates Red Crescent's branch in Fujairah. Additionally, cash donations can be made through Emirati donor institutions' smart applications, the ERC website and applications, or its official accounts.
