Beirut: Gasoline prices in Lebanon experienced a significant increase today, with both 95-octane and 98-octane fuels rising by LBP 19,000. Diesel prices saw a smaller increase of LBP 1,000, while the price of a gas canister decreased by LBP 1,000.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the updated prices for fuels have been announced as follows: 95-octane gasoline is now priced at LBP 1,431,000, and 98-octane gasoline has reached LBP 1,471,000. Diesel has risen to LBP 1,294,000, whereas the gas canister price has been adjusted to LBP 1,099,000.
The price changes come amid ongoing economic challenges in the country, affecting consumers and businesses dependent on these essential fuels. The latest adjustments reflect fluctuations in the global oil market and their impact on local pricing.
