Beirut: Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea has issued a warning about the potential consequences of recent rocket launches towards Israel, highlighting the risks of further human and material losses. He expressed these concerns amidst Lebanon's ongoing efforts to rebuild its state institutions and political leadership.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Geagea emphasized that Lebanon is moving forward from its troubled past, entering a new era with renewed hope for overcoming current challenges. He noted that significant strides have been made towards establishing a functioning state, marked by the election of a new president, the appointment of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and the formation of a new government.
During a celebration organized by the Lebanese Forces Party in Maarab on the occasion of "Mother's Day," Geagea paid tribute to the mothers of fallen martyrs, recognizing their sacrifices. He affirmed that the memory of these martyrs guides the party's commitment to the straight path it has maintained for 40 years, underscoring that their sacrifices were for the nation's survival and the society's continuity.
