Beirut: Director General of Lebanon's General Security, Major General Hassan Choucair, on Tuesday received the Ambassador of India to Lebanon, Mohammad Noor Rahman Sheikh, during a courtesy visit at his office. The meeting provided an opportunity for Major General Choucair to extend his congratulations to the Republic of India on the occasion of its Independence Day, celebrated on August 15.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting between Major General Choucair and Ambassador Sheikh underscored the positive relations between Lebanon and India. The courtesy visit highlighted the diplomatic ties and mutual respect shared by both nations.
