NNA – German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas called today for an end to violence between Israel and the Palestinians and the resumption of talks between the two sides, according to AFP.
“It is necessary now, first of all, to stop the missile attacks, secondly to end the violence, and thirdly to return to holding talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians, based on the two-state solution,” Maas said via Twitter.
He described the situation as “extremely explosive.”
