Abu dhabi: The organising committee of the Global Media Congress 2024 has announced the launch of a revamped online platform, aligning with the event's vision to foster dialogue, cooperation, and innovation in the global media sector. The updated website is designed to enhance user experience and support the Congress's mission to advance the media sector at both regional and international levels. According to Emirates News Agency, the third edition of the Congress will take place from November 26 to 28, 2024, at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Organised by ADNEC in strategic partnership with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the event aims to convene top media professionals, thought leaders, and innovators from around the world. The new platform serves as a central hub for participants, providing comprehensive information about the event's topics, sessions, benefits, and accompanying agenda. It enables users to access updates and resources more effic iently, fostering discussions on innovation and media transformation. The Congress seeks to reinforce Abu Dhabi's status as a centre for enlightened global conversation and empower the local, regional, and global media sectors. It promotes responsible communication based on facts and evidence, while safeguarding against harmful deepfake content.
