GS’s Chief Choucair Broaches Developments with Jordanian Ambassador, Discusses Bilateral Ties with Iraqi Charg© d’Affaires

Beirut: Director General of Lebanon's General Security, Major General Hassan Choucair, on Monday received in his office, the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Lebanon, Walid Al-Hadid, with whom he discussed the latest developments on the regional arena. Maj. Gen. Choucair later welcomed in his office, the Charg© d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Lebanon, Mohammed Redha al-Husseini.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussion with Ambassador Al-Hadid centered on recent regional developments, highlighting the importance of collaboration between Lebanon and Jordan. The meeting aimed to strengthen the ties and enhance the understanding of mutual interests shared by both nations.

Subsequently, Major General Choucair's conversation with the Iraqi Charg© d'Affaires, Mohammed Redha al-Husseini, focused on bilateral relations. They explored ways to boost cooperation and coordination between Lebanon and Iraq, emphasizing the significance of maintaining strong diplomatic relations.
