Hajjar and Rasamny Discuss Airport Readiness and Shehim Government Complex Project

Beirut: Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Hajjar, and Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, convened a coordination meeting at the Ministry of Public Works. The meeting centered on shared priorities, with a focus on preparations at Rafic Hariri International Airport ahead of the forthcoming tourist season.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the ministers underscored the importance of enhancing logistical and security readiness at the airport. They stressed the necessity for seamless cooperation between administrative and security agencies to ensure a smooth flow of passengers, thereby guaranteeing both comfort and safety for travelers.

In addition to the discussions on airport readiness, Minister Rasamny informed Minister Hajjar that the Ministry of Public Works and Transport has allocated $3.5 million from its budget for the completion of the Government Complex in the town of Shehim.
