Beirut: Former minister and MP Talal Merhebi, accompanied by former MP Tarek Merhebi, met Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar to discuss national, administrative, and development issues.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Merhebi called for updating rural building laws and granting municipalities broader powers to facilitate legal construction permits. He also highlighted the need for a modern electoral law and urged increased support for Akkar Governorate through additional security personnel, equipment, and logistical resources. He commended Hajjar's efforts, particularly in handling security-related matters.
