Hariri Calls for Unity and National Renewal in Anniversary Speech

Beirut: On the 21st anniversary of his father Rafik Hariri's assassination, former Prime Minister Saad Hariri addressed supporters, praising their patience and commitment to his father's vision of moderation and national unity. He emphasized that Lebanon should have one constitution and one army, rejecting division, and reaffirmed that his movement will not trade principles for power.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hariri expressed optimism for the future, calling current challenges the "last tunnel," and sent greetings to residents of the South and Tripoli. The former prime minister highlighted the importance of Arab unity and Lebanon's role within the Arab world. Speaking about Syria, he voiced support for a "new Syria," praising the Syrian people and President Ahmad al-Sharaa for their efforts toward national reconciliation.

Hariri affirmed that the Future Movement will represent the people's voice in upcoming national challenges, starting with parliamentary elections, promising that citizens' voices will be heard and counted. He concluded by reaffirming commitment to the legacy of his late father and assuring supporters that the movement remains steadfast, united, and true to its principles.
