The statement further described Martyr Afif as a key figure in Hezbollah's media, political, and jihadi efforts. It noted his bravery in openly confronting threats from Zionist forces, particularly through a daring press confer ence held in Beirut's Dahieh, which highlighted his commitment to the cause. Hezbollah extended its condolences to various figures and groups, including Imam Mahdi (A.S.), the Supreme Leader of the Muslims, Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem, the Islamic Resistance fighters, and Martyr Afif's family.
