Beirut: Hezbollah on Wednesday announced that it conducted early morning strikes against several Israeli sites. The targets included a military industries company located east of Haifa, the Mahanaim base near Safed, and Israeli troops stationed in Qantara. Additionally, there were reports of clashes between Hezbollah fighters and Israeli forces near Chamaa.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for earlier attacks on various locations, including Naqoura, a Merkava tank in Qantara, and positions in Maalot-Tarshiha, Shlomi, Meron base, Nahariya, Zarit barracks, and Ras Naqoura. These strikes were part of a broader escalation of tensions in the region.
Furthermore, Hezbollah reported the downing of an Israeli Hermes 450 drone over Aishiyeh. This incident marks an increase in aerial confrontations between Hezbollah and Israeli forces, further complicating the already tense situation in the area.
