Hezbollah’s Sheikh Qassem Emphasizes Battlefield Over Politics in Ongoing Conflict.

Beirut: Hezbollah Secretary Sheikh Naim Qassem declared that the Israeli adversary will be overwhelmed by the Lebanese resistance's attacks, emphasizing that the resolution of the conflict will be achieved on the battlefield rather than through political negotiations. In a televised speech broadcast by Al-Manar, Sheikh Qassem, speaking for the second time since his election as secretary general, vowed that Hezbollah would ultimately prevail in the ongoing war, asserting that there is no area within the Zionist entity that Hezbollah cannot reach. He stressed that any negotiations must be founded on ceasing aggression and fully safeguarding Lebanese sovereignty. According to National news agency - Lebanon, Sheikh Qassem stated that Lebanon has been enduring a brutal conflict for more than 40 days, with Hezbollah now engaged in a defensive war. He remarked that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's strategy aimed to dismantle Hezbollah, invade Lebanon, and alter the Middle East, but the resistance has thw arted these plans. Sheikh Qassem began his address by paying homage to former Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, who was martyred 40 days ago. He described Sayyed Nasrallah as an unparalleled symbol of resistance, who established an organization comprising free-spirited resisters. Sheikh Qassem characterized Hezbollah as an entity with reach across cultural, political, Jihadi, social, educational, and health domains. He praised Sayyed Nasrallah for invigorating the movement both during his life and after his martyrdom, asserting that his legacy will endure and the resistance will continue to grow. In this framework, the newly appointed Hezbollah S.G. acknowledged that Lebanon is confronting a hostile war that began over 40 days ago. He commended the support for Gaza from fronts in Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, noting that despite the loss of more than 43,000 lives and over 100,000 injuries, Gaza remains resilient and poised for victory.
