Manama: Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, attended the meeting of the members of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Defence Council. Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Adviser and Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, was also present.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad reviewed the most notable achievements of 2025, including the development of work mechanisms and the strengthening of coordination and institutional readiness to meet the requirements of the next phase. This aligns with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
HH Shaikh Nasser emphasized that these directives highlight national security as a fundamental pillar of stability and development, and a shared responsibility that necessitates the highest levels of preparedness and integration among national entities. He also recognized the continuous follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
He further underscored the importance of the General Secretariat's role in consolidating the foundations of the national security system. HH Shaikh Nasser pointed out that national responsibility requires the continued harnessing of all capabilities and means to adapt to challenges and changes, ensuring the sustainability of national gains.
HH Shaikh Nasser commended the commitment and high professionalism demonstrated by the members of the General Secretariat, emphasizing the significance of teamwork and building on past achievements. This is in line with the vision of His Majesty the King to strengthen Bahrain's pillars of security, stability, and prosperity.
