Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Ahmad Al Hajjar, Minister of Interior and Municipalities of the Lebanese Republic, at Sakhir Palace during the minister's visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Lebanese Minister extended the greetings of His Excellency President General Joseph Aoun of the Lebanese Republic, along with his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Bahrain and its people.
His Majesty the King welcomed Minister Al Hajjar and conveyed greetings and best wishes to the Lebanese President and the people of Lebanon, expressing hopes for their further development and prosperity. His Majesty commended the longstanding relations between the Kingdom and Lebanon, emphasizing that these ties continue to grow in all areas of mutual interest. He noted that such visits demonstrate a shared commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation, coordination, and joint work, particularly in the field of security, to achieve common benefits.
His Majesty reiterated Bahrain's unwavering support for Lebanon and affirmed the Kingdom's backing for all measures that ensure Lebanon's security, stability, unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, which serve the interests of the Lebanese people.
The Lebanese Minister expressed gratitude to His Majesty the King for the warm reception and hospitality. He praised Bahrain's supportive stance towards Lebanon and its people under the leadership of His Majesty the King. The Minister also conveyed Lebanon's desire to strengthen relations with Bahrain across various domains for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
