Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, announced the issuance of Edict (2) of 2026 concerning the restructuring of the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions. This decision was based on a proposal from the Minister of Works and subsequently approved by the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Council has been reconstituted with the following members: Dr. Abdullah Yousif Taleb as Chairman, Mohammed Mirza Al Oraibi as Vice Chairman, and members Jawad Jaafar Al Jabal, Dr. Isa Salman Qambar, Khalid Mohammed Al Ansari, Noor Jaafar Al Mutawa, Dana Mohammed Mudhafar, Bader Mohammed Al Mansoori, and Fatima Fadhel Abbas.
The edict mandates that the Minister of Works and all relevant authorities implement the provisions of this restructuring, which takes effect immediately from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
