San salvador: The Kuwaiti International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO) has successfully concluded its initiative, "Kawader," in El Salvador, which aimed to promote moderate Islamic culture. The program saw the graduation of 100 individuals trained to spread Islamic teachings, and it resulted in the conversion of 25 people to Islam. According to Kuwait News Agency, the project was implemented with a budget of USD 56,400. It was launched to address the significant need for promoting Islamic culture among both Muslims and other communities in El Salvador. The program has prepared a number of new scholars to disseminate Islam's moderate message and equipped five mosques to support the efforts of these newly trained cadres. The initiative included organizing 12 monthly gatherings over a period of 24 days, focusing on imparting fundamental knowledge of Islamic sharia to participants.
