Beirut: The regional gas pipeline linking Syria and Turkey was inaugurated today, in the presence of Syrian and Turkish Energy Ministers and Azerbaijani Economy Minister, and representatives from the Qatar Fund for Development.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Syrian Energy Minister affirmed that "the pipeline will enable the supply of six million cubic meters of gas per day, and will begin with the supply of 3.4 million cubic meters of gas per day from Azerbaijan via Turkey, as part of the generous assistance provided by our brothers in the State of Qatar."
