Beirut:Information Minister Dr. Paul Morcos welcomed a series of visitors at his ministry office on Monday, including a delegation from the Lebanese Private Sector Network.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Minister Morcos also engaged in discussions with an Italian technical delegation, focusing on various technical matters.
Among the day's meetings, Morcos received German Ambassador to Lebanon Thomas Zahneisen. This courtesy visit marked Ambassador Zahneisen's first to the Ministry of Information since assuming his diplomatic role. He was accompanied by the embassy's First Secretary for Political Affairs.
After the meeting, Ambassador Zahneisen characterized the discussions with Minister Morcos as both useful and fruitful. The dialogue covered the general media landscape in Lebanon, explored prospects for future cooperation, and examined ways to support the Lebanese government in media-related endeavors and development. The ambassador also extended congratulations to Lebanon for making positive strides in the media law dossier.
