Beirut: Interior and Municipalities Minister, Ahmad Hajjar, met with US Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson, at the ministry on Friday. The visit marked the conclusion of Johnson's diplomatic mission in Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting was an opportunity to discuss recent developments in Lebanon and the region. Both officials emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration between the United States and Lebanon, particularly in relation to the support extended by the US to various agencies within the Ministry of Interior, including the Internal Security Forces.
In a separate meeting, Minister Hajjar also engaged with Jean-Bertrand Mothes, the director of the French Development Agency in Lebanon. Their discussions centered on joint projects and strategies to enhance partnerships aimed at supporting local development.
