Beirut: Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmed Al-Hajjar, on Thursday received in his office, Lebanese Kataeb Party leader, Samy Gemayel, who paid him a congratulatory visit upon assuming his ministerial duties. The visit was a chance to dwell on the latest developments on the domestic scene and the ongoing preparations for the upcoming municipal and mayoral elections.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Hajjar later received MP Michel Daher, with whom he discussed the country's general situation and relevant district affairs. This meeting focused on addressing the current challenges facing the nation and exploring potential solutions to enhance governance and public services across various districts.
Additionally, Hajjar received a delegation from the "Association of Retired Armed Forces Personnel" led by retired Brigadier General Nicolas Mazhar. The discussion centered on the affairs of retired military personnel, highlighting their needs and concerns. This meeting aimed to ensure that the interests of retired service members are adequately represented and addressed by the government.
