The Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Hassan El-Khatib, announced on Monday 19/8/2024 that the government is actively working to eliminate obstacles facing investors. The ministry aims to maximise the advantages of existing trade agreements and leverage international frameworks to protect investments and support local industries. El-Khatib emphasised the importance of streamlining the import of services, materials, machinery, and equipment required for industry. The government also will reduce customs clearance times.
