Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi called for upgrading the relations with Algeria in all areas, notably economy and trade.
During his meeting with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmad Attaf in Tehran on Saturday, Raisi said his country was ready to share its scientific and technological potentials with Algeria, according to a statement by the Iranian presidency.
On his part, Attaf said President Abdelmadjid Tebboune tasked him with conveyed Algeria’s desire to push the relations with Iran to the highest possible level.
The Algerian minister noted that the economic and trade cooperation lags behind the bilateral political relations but can gain momentum under the leadership of both countries.
