Tehran:Iran has officially lodged a complaint with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) concerning US sanctions that have affected its aviation sector, resulting in the cancellation of several flights from Tehran.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Iranian Civil Aviation Organization chief Abuzar Shiroudi announced that Tehran submitted a formal protest to ICAO. The complaint was filed "in defense of the legitimate rights of the aviation sector" and as a response to what Shiroudi referred to as "illegal restrictions imposed by the United States."
