Tehran: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei responded to remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump likening Washington's dealings with Tehran to "a chess game played in dim light," Russia Today reported.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Baghaei stated, "Whether the light is dim or bright, Iranians have proven that they are professional chess players." He emphasized Iran's extensive experience and capability in managing political, economic, and military challenges and pressures.
Trump had previously mentioned that the United States was handling its interactions with Iran calmly, keeping a close watch on its actions. He drew a parallel between the ongoing negotiations and the mutual pressure exerted by both sides to a strategic chess match.
