Iranian Embassy Defends Popular Support Amid Criticism

Beirut: The Iranian embassy wrote on its X account: "Mr. Youssef Raggi, do not be mistaken in your understanding and assessment of the Iranian people, the system, and the state that our people love. Be realistic. For more than one hundred days, all squares across our beloved and powerful country, covering an area of 1,648,195 square kilometers, have been filled with massive crowds, with the participation of all segments of society, men and women, the elderly, youth, and children, in defense of the Islamic Republic system."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the embassy's statement comes in response to comments made by Youssef Raggi, which were perceived as misrepresenting the sentiments of the Iranian populace towards their political system. The embassy emphasized the widespread support for the Islamic Republic, highlighting the participation of diverse demographics in recent gatherings across the nation. This response underscores the embassy's stance on the unity and collective support among the Iranian people for their current governance structure.
