Tehran: Iranian Parliament is set to conduct a closed-door session on Monday, with the potential involvement of Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, as confirmed by Ali Reza Salimi, a member of the Parliament's Presidium.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Salimi stated that the session's agenda will be centered around nuclear negotiations. This gathering is scheduled before the public parliamentary meeting that will assess recent developments in the talks. Salimi highlighted that Araghchi is expected to attend, where members of parliament will express their perspectives, and the foreign minister will deliver a report on the status of the negotiations.
The session follows two rounds of indirect nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States that took place in Muscat last Friday. These discussions were mediated by Oman, with Abbas Araghchi representing Tehran and U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff representing Washington.
