Tehran: The Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Major General Hossein Salami, has accused Israel of instigating chaos in Syria. Salami indicated that those who suffered defeats in Gaza and Lebanon are now spearheading attacks in Syria, as reported by 'Sky News Arabia.' According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Tasnim News Agency quoted Hossein Salami, who stated that following Israel's 'strategic defeats' on the Gaza and Lebanon fronts, 'the Takfiri terrorist groups, under the leadership and direction of those defeated on the battlefields in Gaza and southern Lebanon, launched new brutal attacks on Syria in the last days.' Salami further noted that these attacks resulted in the death of Keumarth (Hashim) Pourhashemi, also known as Hajj Hashem, a commander of the Revolutionary Guards. He emphasized that "Hajj Hashem" was regarded as the chief Iranian military advisor in Syria, highlighting the significant impact of the recent developments in the region.
