Baghdad The Iraqi and American delegations reiterated the principles agreed upon in the Strategic Framework Agreement.
In the joint statement, the United States reaffirmed its respect for Iraq’s sovereignty and Iraqi laws, and pledged to continue providing the resources Iraq needs to maintain its territorial integrity.
Iraq and the United States of America agreed to transfer the security relationship to advice, training and intelligence cooperation.
