According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance issued a statement detailing the attack, asserting it was conducted in response to what they describe as "attacks and massacres perpetrated by the Zionist enemy." The statement declared that the group's fighters launched a precise rocket barrage targeting the base at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024. The attack is positioned within a broader context of escalating tensions in the region, with the Islamic Resistance expressing solidarity with what they termed as "valiant and honorable resistance" in the Gaza Strip.
