Israel Bans Public Gatherings, Shuts Schools

Beirut: Israel has banned public gatherings, shut schools and workplaces, and moved hospital patients to underground facilities.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Defence Minister Israel Katz declared a state of emergency across the country, warning the public of potential Iranian missile and drone attacks. In response to this heightened threat level, the government has taken drastic measures to ensure the safety and security of its citizens.

The police have urged against non-essential travel to allow security and emergency vehicles to move freely, emphasizing the critical nature of maintaining open routes for any urgent response that might be needed. The public is advised to adhere to these restrictions to facilitate the efficient operation of emergency services during this period of heightened alert.
