Cairo: The Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced on Sunday that Israeli negotiators are in Egypt, where they are discussing the issue of the hostages held by Hamas with Egyptian mediators, as part of discussions on maintaining the truce in Gaza.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the office stated, the day after Israel announced the continuation of talks with Hamas, "Based on instructions from Prime Minister (Benjamin) Netanyahu, representatives of the negotiating team are currently meeting with senior Egyptian officials to discuss the hostage issue."
This development marks a significant diplomatic effort as negotiators work to address the complex situation involving hostages in Gaza. The discussions are part of broader efforts to maintain the fragile truce in the region and ensure the safety of individuals involved.
