Israeli Airstrike in Beit Lahia Results in 25 Casualties and Dozens Injured

GAZA CITY: At least 25 individuals were killed and dozens more were injured on Friday following an Israeli airstrike on two residential houses in Beit Lahia, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The incident is part of ongoing hostilities that have persisted since early October, leading to widespread casualties across the region. According to Maan News Agency, the airstrike targeted families residing in Beit Lahia, resulting in the deaths of members from the Abu Samra, Al-Najjar, and Hanouna families. The victims include Bassam Ismail Abu Samra, Amal Fadl Abu Samra, and multiple members of the Al-Najjar family, among others. The Israeli military action has continued to escalate with ongoing land, sea, and air operations since October 7, 2023. The reported toll from the ongoing conflict has reached 42,874 fatalities and 100,544 injuries, with children and women constituting a significant portion of the victims. These figures remain incomplete as many individuals are still unaccounted for beneath t he rubble.
