BEIRUT: Five people were killed and 33 others were injured in an airstrike carried out by Israeli warplanes on the Harat Saida area in southern Lebanon. This incident has been reported by the Lebanese Ministry of Health. According to Jordan News Agency, a Lebanese security source informed a Petra correspondent in Beirut that the warplanes targeted a house near the old mosque in the square of the eastern town in the south, resulting in one death and several injuries. In addition to this, two more people lost their lives, and one was injured in a separate airstrike on the town of Sajad. The airstrikes have caused significant concern and have highlighted tensions in the region. The Lebanese authorities are assessing the situation and are expected to provide further updates.
