Beirut: Israeli airstrikes have targeted regions in South and West Lebanon, resulting in significant destruction and heightened tensions. The town of Saghmar in Western Bekaa was struck by two Israeli airstrikes, as reported by Lebanese local sources. According to National news agency - Lebanon, the town of Jebchit in the Nabatieh district also experienced a separate drone strike. Reports from the area indicate that a motorcycle was targeted in an earlier raid on Jebchit, preceding a subsequent airstrike. Meanwhile, the town of Al-Khiam has been experiencing continuous explosions, with blasts heard day and night across various neighborhoods. These explosions are reportedly due to Israeli forces planting explosives in residential, commercial, and other buildings, which are then demolished under a barrage of firepower. Thick smoke has been observed rising from several areas within Al-Khiam, increasing residents' concerns as destruction spreads across homes and infrastructure. The situation has resulted in mo unting fear among the local population as the conflict continues to escalate.
