Nabatieh: Israeli warplanes launched a second airstrike on the town of Doueir on Sunday afternoon, targeting the Al-Wardat neighborhood just hours after an earlier strike. The airstrikes resulted in the destruction of several homes, including partial damage to the home and vehicle of journalist Samer Wehbeh, which was situated next to the strike location.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, reports indicate that one person was injured in the attack. Civil defense and emergency rescue teams are currently engaged in efforts to locate individuals believed to be trapped beneath the rubble of a house belonging to Nabil and Hussein Sabra. The strike inflicted significant damage to the Doueir Municipality building and a nearby Lebanese Civil Defense center. Several civil defense personnel sustained minor injuries from shattered glass and flying debris during the incident.
Elsewhere in the Nabatieh District, airstrikes were reported on the outskirts of Choukine, while the town of Maifadoun was subjected to a series of raids. Additionally, Qsaybeh was hit by another strike, compounding the ongoing tensions in the area. In the afternoon, enemy drones conducted further attacks on Ansar, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, and Kawthariyet al-Siyad, escalating the conflict and causing further unrest in the region.
