GAZA CITY: Israeli military operations in Beit Lahia, Gaza Strip, have resulted in the deaths of 73 Palestinians, including women, children, and the elderly, marking the fifteenth consecutive day of military actions in the area. The bombardment of residential blocks has led to significant casualties and destruction, according to local health authorities. According to Kuwait News Agency, a press release from health authorities indicated that many injured individuals remain trapped under the rubble following the recent airstrikes. The dire situation is exacerbated by a severe shortage of medical supplies and personnel, as highlighted by Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the director of a local hospital. The scarcity of resources has impeded effective medical response and treatment for the wounded. Civil defense teams have been working tirelessly to rescue those affected by the attacks. They reported having recovered numerous individuals, both deceased and injured, from beneath the collapsed buildings. The residential bl ock that was targeted housed five families, and efforts are ongoing to locate additional survivors amidst the debris. Eyewitness accounts provided to KUNA described intense bombardment in the Jabaliya camp, utilizing various types of weaponry, aimed at compelling residents to evacuate. The Israeli army has reportedly gained control over hospitals, schools, and camp roads through drone surveillance, detaining hundreds of civilians in the process. The media office has condemned the military actions, labeling them as a continuation of an ethnic cleansing campaign against civilians. They have called upon the international community to intervene and demand an end to what they describe as genocide. In addition to the attacks in Beit Lahia, the Israeli occupation forces also targeted Gaza City and a refugee tent in Deir Balah, resulting in further casualties.
