Israeli Airstrikes in Southern Lebanon Result in Multiple Fatalities

BEIRUT: Israeli airstrikes on towns in southern Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of at least ten individuals, with several others injured, as reported by the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) on Sunday. The strikes have targeted civilian areas, leading to widespread destruction and increasing tensions in the region. According to Kuwait News Agency, the airstrikes specifically hit a house in Borj Rahhal, a town in southern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of two people and the complete destruction of the structure. Further casualties were reported in Srifa, where three people were killed, and in Kfar Dounine, where two fatalities were confirmed. The Israeli occupation's warplanes also targeted the Civil Defense Center of the Islamic Health Authority, resulting in the death of one individual and the obliteration of the building. The NNA further noted that two additional people were killed and one was injured in a series of intense airstrikes by the Israeli forces, which have caused significant damage to properties. Since September 23, Lebanon has been subjected to a barrage of airstrikes from the Israeli occupation, leading to considerable loss of life, destruction of property, and the displacement of hundreds of residents from their homes.
