GAZA CITY: The Israeli military has intensified its airstrikes on the northern Gaza Strip, conducting over 20 raids in a single day. The escalation has resulted in numerous casualties, including women and children, as civilian homes have been targeted amidst the ongoing conflict. According to Oman News Agency, medical sources have confirmed that many Palestinians have been killed or injured due to the attacks, which have primarily focused on residential areas. Local reports from the Saftawi area describe loud explosions and continuous gunfire from Israeli military vehicles, highlighting the severity of the assaults. The airstrikes extended to the Jabalia camp, where heavy bombardment was reported, as well as targeting the Al-Tawwam area and Sheikh Radwan district in Gaza City. In a particularly devastating strike, Zaid bin Haritha School, a shelter for displaced individuals in Beit Lahia, was bombed, resulting in the deaths of seven Palestinians. The northern Gaza Strip has been under siege for three weeks , with Israeli forces maintaining a blockade that prevents the entry of essential supplies, including food and medical resources. This has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis faced by the residents, who endure continuous bombings and forced displacement.
