GAZA CITY: Recent Israeli airstrikes on Gaza have resulted in the deaths of 88 individuals, with significant casualties reported in the northern region of the Strip. This development follows a series of bombardments by Israeli forces, marking a severe escalation in the ongoing conflict. According to Maan News Agency, medical sources confirmed that the fatalities include 49 individuals from northern Gaza, reflecting the severity of the attacks in that area. Among the deceased are 13 citizens who were killed when Israeli aircraft targeted several locations within Gaza City. The relentless airstrikes since dawn have left numerous others injured. Local sources indicated that nine citizens lost their lives and others sustained injuries due to an airstrike on a group of people near the Al-Shati refugee camp, located northwest of Gaza City. Additionally, two individuals were killed, and others were wounded in a separate airstrike near the Industrial Zone in Gaza City. Further reports reveal that two additional fa talities occurred, and another person was injured when Israeli forces launched an airstrike on the fishermen's port to the west of Gaza City. The continuous air raids have compounded the humanitarian crisis in the region, with medical facilities struggling to cope with the influx of casualties.
