Israeli Airstrikes Result in 10 Deaths in Gaza, Including Children

Gaza: Ten people, including children, were reported killed and several others injured in a series of airstrikes by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip early Tuesday morning. According to Maan News Agency, local and medical sources confirmed the deaths and injuries resulted from two separate incidents involving the targeting of residential areas by Israeli air forces. In the first incident, seven people were killed, including children, when a bomb hit a house in the European housing complex in Al-Fakhari town, east of Khan Yunis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The second incident resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to others in the bombing of the Dahdouh family's home near Salah al-Din Mosque in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. The ongoing offensive by Israeli forces in Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, has led to significant casualties. To date, the conflict has resulted in the deaths of 42,289 people and injuries to 98,684, with the majority being children and women. The toll remains provisional, with thousands of people still reportedly missing under the rubble, continuing to escalate the humanitarian crisis in the region.
