Israeli Attacks on Gaza City Result in Numerous Casualties, Most Victims Are Children

GAZA CITY: A series of attacks by Israeli occupation forces on several areas in Gaza City at dawn on Friday resulted in the deaths and injuries of numerous citizens, predominantly children. According to Maan News Agency, Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics reported the recovery of children from a missile attack targeting a house on Al-Nasr Street, northwest of Gaza City. The wounded were transported to Al-Shifa Hospital, located in the western part of the city. Additionally, paramedics recovered two martyrs from the Shahada and Hasaballah families in the Wadi al-Arayes area, east of the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, after they were fatally shot by Israeli army bullets. These victims were taken to the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. In another incident, several citizens sustained injuries when occupation aircraft bombed the Al-Husseini family's residence near the Abu Mazen junction in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City. The injured were also transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital for medical treatment. Among the casualties was 12-year-old Abdul Rahman Al-Dalo, who succumbed to severe burns, joining his mother and brother Shaaban, who died in a bombing at Al-Aqsa Hospital four days earlier. The Israeli forces have continued their assault on the Gaza Strip by land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023. The ongoing aggression has led to the martyrdom of 42,438 citizens and injuries to 99,246 others, primarily children and women. This toll remains incomplete as thousands of individuals are still missing beneath the rubble.
