Israeli Bombardment on Beit Lahia School Kills Seven Displaced Citizens

GAZA: Seven citizens were killed Tuesday evening when an Israeli bombardment targeted a school in Beit Lahia, situated in the northern region of the Gaza Strip. The school, Zaid bin Haritha, was being used as a shelter for displaced people amid ongoing conflict in the area. According to Maan News Agency, local sources have confirmed that the occupation artillery shelled the school, resulting in the deaths of seven individuals and injuring others. This attack is part of a broader, sustained military operation that has seen the northern Gaza Strip besieged for 18 consecutive days. The siege includes the destruction and bombing of homes, restrictions on food supply entries, and the forced displacement of residents. The military aggression by occupation forces has been ongoing across land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023. This campaign has led to the deaths of 42,718 citizens and injuries to 100,282 others, with the majority of casualties being women and children.
