JERICHO: Israeli colonists today stole about 200 heard of sheep in the Ras Ein al-Auja Bedouin community, north of Jericho. Hassan Malihat, general supervisor of the Al-Baidar organization for the defense of Bedouin rights, said that a group of Israeli colonists from the colonial outposts adjacent to the community stole a herd of sheep owned by a local resident. It is noteworthy that colonists carry out daily attacks against Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley, involving physical assaults, seizure of livestock, and cutting off water.
