Gaza: On the 373rd day of ongoing conflict, Israeli forces continued their intensive air and ground operations across the Gaza Strip, resulting in significant casualties and destruction. The conflict, which began on October 7 last year, has now seen 42,175 people killed and 98,336 injured, according to local health officials.
According to Maan News Agency, the Israeli military has carried out multiple attacks in various parts of Gaza, including the targeted bombing of residential areas which has resulted in the deaths of entire families. The latest reports indicate that in the past 24 hours, 49 individuals have been killed and 219 others have been injured. The ongoing operations have particularly intensified in the northern regions of Gaza, including Jabalia, where the Israeli army has been conducting a ground operation for nine consecutive days, completely isolating the area along with nearby towns such as Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia.
The air raids have also targeted specific households, with one such attac
k in Jabalia leading to the death of eight members of the Al-Harshi family. Furthermore, large-scale demolitions are being reported, with significant explosions heard in the northern parts of the Gaza Strip. Additional casualties have been reported near the fishermen’s port west of Gaza City and in various neighborhoods including Sheikh Radwan and Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City.
In other parts of Gaza, such as the Nuseirat camp in the central region, a family of eight, the Abu Ghali family, was killed, adding to the tragic toll of the conflict. In the southern regions of Gaza, including Rafah, Israeli forces have continued demolitions for the sixth consecutive month, with recent bombings resulting in more civilian casualties.
The continuous escalation of violence and the high number of civilian casualties highlight the severe impact of the conflict on Gaza’s population, which continues to suffer under the strain of ongoing military operations.
