Jaber, Rasamny Review Beirut Airport Development and Revenue Enhancement Plans

Beirut: Finance Minister Yassine Jaber and Public Works and Transport Minister Fayez Rasamny on Monday held talks on ongoing coordination efforts related to development projects and capacity enhancement at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting was attended by Director General of Civil Aviation Mohammad Aziz and Rasamny's adviser Hadi Moussa. They reviewed measures to address current operational challenges, including the management of passenger and cargo traffic from a technical perspective. Discussions also highlighted the airport's role as a key state asset and a significant source of public revenue.

Separately, Jaber met with Governor of the Banque du Liban Karim Souaid for an extended meeting focused on financial and monetary coordination, as well as efforts to safeguard economic stability.
