Jeita Grotto Reopens Amid Parliamentary Activities

Beirut: The Jeita Grotto, one of Lebanon's renowned natural landmarks, officially reopened in a ceremony attended by prominent government officials. The reopening event was held under the patronage of President Joseph Aoun, represented by Minister of Tourism Laura El Khazen Lahoud. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the day was marked by significant parliamentary activities as well. At 11:00, MP Tony Frangieh presided over the 30th session of the subcommittee emerging from the joint parliamentary committees. This session took place at the Office Building in the IT Committee Room on the 6th floor. Concurrently, MP Bilal Abdallah led the session of the Committee on Public Health, Labor, and Social Affairs in Room 515 on the 5th floor of the same building. Furthermore, Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri called for a joint session of the Bureau of the Parliament and the Administration and Justice Committee, which was held at the Parliament Headquarters in Ain El-Tineh at 13:00. These sessions underscor ed a busy day for Lebanese parliamentarians, aligning with the landmark event of the Jeita Grotto's reopening.
