Tripoli: The Charge d'Affairs of the US Embassy to Libya, Jeremy Berndt, renewed his country's support for efforts aimed at promoting peace and integration throughout Libya as part of the US strategy to prevent conflicts and promote stability. This came during his meeting last Friday with Libyan officials and experts committed to empowerment and social inclusion to discuss 'strengthening the role of women in the peacebuilding process.' In a tweet published by the American Embassy on Monday, the American diplomat expressed his thanks to the representatives of the Presidential Council and the municipalities, as well as the academics and civil society activists who participated in this meeting.
