AMMAN: The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in Jordan has highlighted the critical role of its partnership with the UAE's Presight, a leader in digital transformation, in advancing sectors such as education, health, infrastructure, and e-sports. According to Jordan News Agency, the collaboration, supported by a substantial UAE grant, exemplifies the enduring alliance and support from the Emirates, utilizing its top-notch companies to boost Jordan's sectoral advancements. The ministry noted the importance of this partnership and the broader bilateral cooperation as a model for the Arab world, showcasing the mutual benefits of such strategic alignments. The agreement allows Presight to implement specific projects, after which Jordanian entities will take over the operations, ensuring local management and control. The ministry assured that all such agreements undergo meticulous monitoring to prevent any misinterpretation or dissemination of incorrect information. The ministry also compared thi s partnership approach to those of global tech giants such as Intel, Microsoft, Google, and Oracle, which also form international partnerships to operate across borders, underscoring the global nature of technological collaborations. Furthermore, the ministry confirmed that all international contracts are subject to a strict legal process to align with Jordanian laws, including cybersecurity measures and data protection laws, ensuring that national data security is maintained by competent national authorities.
